Pizza - All Around the World

It’s said that the all-time classic “Pizza Margherita” was first created on the 11th of June 1889 by the Neapolitan pizzamaker Raffaele Esposito to honour the Queen consort of Italy, Margherita of Savoy. The classic Margherita is garnished with 3 simple but yummy ingredients: tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil – representing the national colours found on the Italian flag.
For over a hundred years the Pizza has now taken many shapes and forms and made it into our hearts and stomachs all around the world..

The Dalai Lama

“The Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop and says, ‘Can you make me one with everything?’”.

The award-winning pizza was later named “Pizza Berlusconi” by the chef himself, taking pride in the pizzas special topping – Smoked reindeer.

What’s your favourite topping?
